Holly Burford on using CareLoop in community rehabilitation

Supporting people living with psychosis in the community can be complex and unpredictable. We spoke with Holly Burford, Clinical Associate Psychologist in the Community Rehabilitation team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, about her experience of using CareLoop with service users.

In this short video, Holly shares how CareLoop is helping her and her colleagues gain greater insight into service users’ daily experiences, support earlier intervention, and build more collaborative therapeutic relationships.

Watch Holly’s testimonial:

Key themes from Holly’s experience

1. More day-to-day insight: CareLoop provides a window into service users’ daily experiences between appointments.

2. Richer, more natural conversations: Daily check-ins prompt timely discussions about changes in symptoms or wellbeing.

2. Greater patient agency: Tracking symptoms over time helps service users recognise patterns, take more control, and seek help sooner.

4. Supporting therapeutic relationships: Sharing data openly can strengthen trust, rapport, and motivation.

5. Recognising progress: CareLoop not only highlights challenges, but also helps celebrate recovery milestones.

In Holly’s words:

“I’m finding CareLoop really helpful to use. It’s given me more insight into what my clients are experiencing day-to-day, and peace of mind to know that if anything does change, we’re going to get an alert.”
