What we do
We create digital products that are co-designed by patients, clinicians, engineers and researchers. Our products are available as part of a package of care alongside in person care. For people living with psychosis and schizophrenia, CareLoop is proven to accurately predict early warning signs to help prevent relapse. For perinatal mental health, CareLoop identifies mums, dads and partners at risk of postnatal depression for timely intervention by a health worker

Professor John Ainsworth
Chief Product Officer & co-Inventor
John is Chief Product Officer at CareLoop Health. A software engineering veteran with a career spanning commercial R&D and academia. John is Professor of Health Informatics at the University of Manchester and was the Director of the Centre for Health Informatics. Since 2009 he has undertaken pioneering research into the use of smartphones in mental health for connected care.
Professor Shôn Lewis
MD FMedSciChief Medical Officer & co-Inventor
A psychiatrist for over 30 years, Shôn’s keen interest in the use of digital technology within mental health was the genesis of CareLoop Health. He trained at the Maudsley Hospital and has worked within the NHS throughout his career. His many accolades include the platinum clinical excellence award for contribution to the NHS.
Zoë Blake
Chief Executive Officer
Zoë is our Chief Executive Officer, before joining CareLoop Health she served as CEO of the digital mental health platform Kooth (previously XenZone). Zoë is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years leading dynamic teams operating in fast changing, innovation lead organisations.
Sandra Bucci
Chief Science Officer & co-Inventor
Professor Bucci is the first ever NIHR Research Professor in Digital Mental Health in the UK, Professor of Clinical Psychology at The University of Manchester, and Honorary Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH). With over 20 years clinical experience working with people with complex mental health needs, Sandra is also co-Director of the Complex Trauma and Resilience Research Unit in GMMH.
