CareLoop Health is partnering with UK-based advocacy organisation The McPin Foundation and US advocacy group Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance to boost the voice of service users in the ongoing development of our platform.
Views of people living with psychosis and their caregivers have always been central to CareLoop Health, with lived experience shaping every stage of development over 10 years of research.
These two new partnerships continue our commitment to placing lived experience at the core of our company.
The McPin Foundation will work with CareLoop Health to co-design and deliver a series of workshops with people with lived experience of serious mental illness.
The agreement with Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance will see a separate series of co-designed workshops, seeking views of people either living with schizophrenia or psychosis, or their families and caregivers.
These workshops will assess the usability of CareLoop and discuss new product features, ensuring the platform continues to evolve to best meet the needs of people who use it.
Pauline Whelan, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at CareLoop Health, said: “We’re delighted to be working with these key advocacy groups in the UK and US, adding to the user involvement workshops we already regularly run. Service user involvement is a foundational principle of CareLoop Health, and these partnerships will help ensure CareLoop truly is a product designed with, and not just for, people living with psychosis.”
